Faraaz Noor, the 22-year-old contestant on the current series of BBC's The Traitors, has become a fan favourite, with some viewers dubbing him the 'ultimate Faithful' for his ability to evade suspicion. As the show hurtles towards its finale, here's a look at his life outside the castle.
Hailing from Middlesbrough, Faraaz works as an Internal Auditor and graduated from Newcastle University in 2024 with a degree in Accounting and Finance. He is the youngest contestant on this series of the show.
Before entering the game, Faraaz admitted he would be 'throwing people under the bus' if necessary, but emphasised the importance of being seen as trustworthy. 'Being too loud could put you in the firing line straight away,' he said. 'As a Faithful, you do need to be seen as someone that people can confide in.'
If he wins the potential £120,000 prize, Faraaz plans to treat his family, including taking them on a pilgrimage. 'To go to Umrah, to go to Hajj, would be really nice,' he explained. 'If there's a bit left over, I wouldn't mind putting a bit away for a new car but treating my family is my main goal.'
Outside the game, Faraaz is an active cricketer, with Marske Cricket Club posting a good luck message on Instagram for their '1st team Batter'. He also has over 20,000 Instagram followers, sharing glimpses of his social life and travels to places like Saudi Arabia and Ibiza.
