Emmerdale spoilers for Thursday's episode reveal the fallout from the horror wedding crash, with Jimmy King, Dawn Taylor and Joe Tate all unconscious and fighting for their lives. New spoilers and images confirm the three characters are in a grave condition, while an explosion is teased as the wreckage smoulders.
Villagers React in Horror
On Thursday, the incident becomes public knowledge as villagers learn about the accident and gather at the field where the marquee stands. A crowd of onlookers watches in shock and horror as news spreads that a car has crashed into the tent.
Inside the marquee, new images show all three characters in a bad way. With an explosion set to hit, the question of whether they will survive remains unanswered.
Lives Hang in the Balance
Updated spoilers state that Joe and Dawn face a "terrifying entrapment," while Jimmy's wife Nicola King arrives on the scene and realises her husband is in "a life-threatening situation." As the wreckage smoulders, an explosion is on the way, leaving fans to wonder if Jimmy, Nicola, Dawn and Joe will all make it out alive, or if a shocking death is on the cards.
Joe's Future Teased
Joe's future may have been hinted at in a cryptic spoiler shared exclusively with the Mirror. Emmerdale producer Laura Shaw recently revealed that a big 2027 plot had been planned, teasing that a current storyline was about to escalate and continue into the next year. She was discussing the dangerous feud between Joe and his uncle Caleb Miligan.
Laura told the Mirror that the wedding aftermath would see Caleb and Joe feuding once more, hinting it would get worse and continue into 2027, amid some "gothic" autumn content for the Tates. She said: "I mean, they're still talking about the kidney! Let it go, let it go now. Obviously as we can see in the run-up to the wedding, that feud becomes bigger and bigger."
She added: "And certainly, what I can say is off the back of the wedding, there's going to be... that chasm is going to open even wider between those two. It will be one of our kind of big stories, certainly through the rest of this year and into next year."
Emmerdale airs weeknights at 8pm on ITV1 and ITVX.
