McFly will headline The Park Series at Leazes Park in Newcastle on Friday, August 28, with stage times and support acts now confirmed. The bill includes former Eurovision act Remember Monday and Newcastle band Leazes.
Support acts announced
Remember Monday, who represented the UK at Eurovision 2025 with "What The Hell Just Happened," will perform before McFly. The trio received a strong jury score, including one 12, before a zero from the public dropped them in the standings. They have since released the single "Happier" and are generating buzz with their new song "Attention."
Local group Leazes, made up of Joe King, Sam Dellow, Brandon Campbell, Ben Sanyang and James Wake, will also support. The band has played at the Come Together festival in Newcastle and at Bents Park Live in the past 12 months. Niall O'Connor and Dan Harding complete the lineup.
Stage times for the night
Doors open at 4pm, with Dan Harding starting at 4pm and Niall O'Connor at 4.45pm. Leazes perform at 5.45pm, with last entry at 6.30pm. Remember Monday take the stage at 7pm, McFly at 8.30pm, and the show ends at 10pm.
The concert is the first of two at the venue in late August, with The Human League playing on Sunday, August 30, and the Noughty 90s festival on Saturday.
