Kelsey Parker announces pregnancy with 'rainbow baby' after stillbirth

Kelsey Parker, the widow of The Wanted singer Tom Parker, has announced she is pregnant with a 'rainbow baby', almost a year after losing her third child. The influencer and author shared the news on Instagram with a video in which she, her partner Will Lindsay, and her two children revealed a scan image, topped with a white feather as a tribute to her late husband.

In her caption, Kelsey wrote: 'A year ago next month, we lost our beautiful baby boy, Phoenix. And somehow, through all the heartbreak, it feels like Tom and Phoenix have sent us another little gift from heaven – our little rainbow baby.' The post received thousands of likes and congratulatory messages, including from Good Morning Britain's Susanna Reid and The Wanted's Siva Kaneswaran.

Kelsey, who is mother to daughter Aurelia, six, and son Bodhi, four, lost her baby boy Phoenix in June last year when he was stillborn a week before his due date. She previously described the experience on Good Morning Britain, recalling giving birth at home and realising 'he was no longer with us'. She held Phoenix for only nine minutes and criticised the lack of sensitivity she received from medical staff.

Tom Parker died in March 2022 at the age of 33 after a battle with glioblastoma, an aggressive brain tumour. Kelsey has spoken openly about her grief and keeping his memory alive for their children. On the fourth anniversary of his death, she wrote that she wishes he had 'more time with your babies' and described their children as his 'double' and 'the most beautiful, kindest soul'.
