The new Oasis documentary filmed during the band's reunion tour last year will receive its world premiere at a top film festival ahead of its streaming release.

Oasis: Don't Look Back In Anger has been written by acclaimed Peaky Blinders creator Steven Knight and will be directed by Dylan Southern and Will Lovelace, who both previously worked on acclaimed 2022 indie rock documentary Meet Me In The Bathroom.
The film will receive its world premiere at the 83rd Venice International Film Festival, which will take place between September 2 and 12. It will join the line-up of eagerly-awaited films including Primetime starring Robert Pattinson, and the Casey Affleck-led Company. A date for the world premiere has not yet been announced.
Content and release
Producers said the film features 'unprecedented access and never-before-seen footage' as it charts the band's triumphant reunion tour last year, which marked the first time the band had performed on stage together in 16 years. The film will include rehearsal, backstage and onstage footage, as well as the first joint interviews conducted with Liam and Noel Gallagher in over 20 years.
It was previously announced that the film will receive a limited run at select cinemas on September 9 before it is streamed exclusively on Disney+ in the UK, and on Hulu and Disney+ in the US later this year.
Tour and legacy
The Oasis Live '25 tour, which kicked off in Cardiff in July 2025, featured 41 shows across the UK, Europe, Asia, Australia, and North and South America. It included five shows at both Wembley Stadium and Heaton Park in Manchester.
As well as highlighting the tour, the documentary will also highlight Oasis's global impact since their debut single Supersonic in April 1994. To date, Oasis have sold more than 100 million records worldwide. Their last album, Dig Out Your Soul, was released in October 2008.
