Seaham Food Festival returns this August 1-2 with a packed programme of food, live music and entertainment. TV chef Matt Tebbutt will headline the Cookery Theatre on Sunday at 12.10pm and 3pm. The free-to-enter festival, hosted by Durham County Council, opens at 10am both days and runs until 5pm Saturday and 4pm Sunday.

The seafront will host a huge range of traders including Acropolis Street Food, Fire & Dough, Redheads Mac 'n' Cheese, Geordie Banger Co, and many more. Highlights include Armenian Family Street Kitchen, Churros Barcelona, Kolamba, La Porketta, Senor Paella, Spud Gun Loaded Fries, The Big Banh, The Mighty Soft Shell Crab, and Yumyaba.
