Kate Moss and Bobby Brazier have joined forces for a new Gucci advertising campaign, with Brazier putting his Strictly Come Dancing skills to use. The advert is part of Gucci's Primavera campaign and has been described by the fashion house as an 'emotional awakening'.
Daring Advert Details
In the video, Kate, 52, enters a room of bored people, one of whom is Bobby, 23, who are sitting around doing nothing. Bobby, wearing a sparkly black top, blows a bubble with his gum and lets it pop. Kate, wearing a black dress with side cut-outs stretching from her armpits to her hips, then steps up to a microphone.
Kate first wore the black dress in February for Gucci's Milan catwalk. That was the debut show for new artistic creator Demna, and this is his first video advert.
Music Video Inspiration
Inspired by music videos, the advert sees Kate lip-sync to Chris Isaak's Wicked Game. Bobby and his fellow models slowly get up from their seats and start dancing. Swaying from side to side with another model, Bobby's time on Strictly Come Dancing was evident.
The former EastEnders star appeared on the BBC dance show in 2023. He was partnered with Dianne Buswell and the two reached the final, finishing as runner-up to actress Ellie Leach.
Bobby's Career Journey
Long before he was on Strictly, Bobby made his modelling debut. He appeared on the runway for Dolce & Gabbana's Milan show in February 2020, when he was only 16 years old. At the time, Bobby had moved to New York to pursue his modelling dreams.
By 2023, Bobby, whose father is Jeff Brazier and mum was Jade Goody, was starring as Freddie Slater in EastEnders. He left the soap in 2025 and returned to modelling.
Campaign Concept
Speaking to WWD, Demna said he wanted Kate and Bobby's advert to be "about emotional awakening" and "choosing to feel love again". He added: "I wanted Gucci to be represented as the force that reminds us that beauty is worth the risk. Ultimately it is all about falling in love again."
When Kate is not starring in Gucci ads, the supermodel lives a quiet life in the Cotswolds, close by to stars such as the Beckhams and Ellen DeGeneres. In 2022, she said: "Pottering around my home in the country is one of my favourite things to do - it's when I'm most happy."
Her life in the Cotswolds, as well as her career since she first burst into the fashion industry in 1992, aged just 18, could become the subject of a docuseries. Following the success of Victoria Beckham's series and another dedicated to Kylie Minogue, the streaming platform are thought to be considering making another, focused on Kate.
The Gucci campaign followed its video with a digital push, sharing images of many celebs in Gucci clothing. These included Shawn Mendes, Tom Brady and Alex Consani.
