The One Show presenter Alex Jones has launched a new autumn collection with Cotton Traders, featuring a £65 Cropped Trench Jacket that she describes as 'easy, simple, sophisticated'.
The sandy-hued jacket, available in sizes eight to 22, is fully lined and made from a cotton and polyester mix. It features a double-breasted button fastening, notch lapels and a collar, typical of a classic trench silhouette.

Jones showcased the jacket on Instagram, pairing it with a white t-shirt and light-wash jeans (£40) from the same collection. She said: “I just love a cropped trench, it’s so handy. I think this would be perfect for those months that are still quite warm, September, and October. It’s easy to throw over anything, really. Easy, simple, sophisticated.”
Early reviews have been positive, with one shopper commenting: “Nice design, smart but casual. I got a few nice comments when wearing it.” However, one customer noted the fit wasn’t 'as expected', though the jacket has a relaxed style, making it ideal for layering.
