Yungblud Cancels US Tour After Doctors Raise Health Concerns

Yungblud has cancelled the remaining dates of his 2025 Idols World Tour after doctors flagged concerns during routine voice and blood tests. The 28-year-old rock star, real name Dominic Harrison, announced the decision on Instagram Stories, saying he has been ordered to take a break from performing until the end of the year to avoid 'running himself into the ground'.

The cancellation affects shows in Philadelphia, Cleveland, Washington, Mexico City and Latin America. All tickets will be refunded, and Yungblud has promised to send a gift to fans who sign up with an address. He expressed hopes of rescheduling US dates for 2026 and organising more affordable shows in Mexico and Latin America.

In his statement, Yungblud said: 'This year has been truly unbelievable... This week when I got home off the road, and went to have some tests done... my voice and blood tests have raised some concerns. I have been ordered by my doctor to take a break from touring until the end of the year.' He added that he does not want to cause lasting damage to himself and wants his journey with fans to last forever.

Yungblud's tour was in support of his album Idols, released in June, which recently earned a Grammy nomination for Best Rock Album. His next scheduled show is in Sydney in January 2026, followed by the UK leg in April.

The announcement comes shortly after Yungblud went viral for a shirtless moment at a show where he kissed a fan and handed her his cigarette. While some praised his rockstar persona, others criticised his music, with one commenter noting: 'Everything I see about this guy is like... he's the greatest studier of what actually makes rockstars. its unfortunate about the .. you know… music part.'
