Yungblud has revealed that he and Jesse Jo Stark, Cher's goddaughter, are taking a break from their relationship. The 27-year-old singer, whose real name is Dominic Harrison, spoke about their temporary split on Paul C. Brunson's 'We Need To Talk' podcast, explaining that he needed space to deal with his struggles in the spotlight.
Describing Stark as 'the biggest love' of his life, Yungblud said: 'This year has been such a strange thing for me because it's the first time that probably the biggest love of my life, I've taken space from and I've asked for space. Last year I was really having problems with myself and it was all a me problem.'
The couple, who were together for over two years, reportedly split after a birthday trip to Italy. Despite the break, Yungblud emphasised that Stark remains his best friend and they still speak every Sunday. He added: 'I will love that girl until I die and if that ends up like we like I would love it for one day to have loads of kids with her.'
Yungblud, known for hits like 'Parents' and '11 Minutes', has been open about his mental health struggles. He expressed hope that the break would allow him to work on himself and eventually reunite with Stark, whom he described as 'the most incredible person' he has ever met.
