Whigfield Stuns Fans with Ageless Look 28 Years After Hit

Danish pop star Whigfield, real name Sannie Charlotte Carlson, has amazed fans with her youthful appearance nearly three decades after her 1994 number one hit 'Saturday Night'. The 52-year-old singer posted a fresh-faced, make-up free photo on Instagram, prompting comments calling it 'beautiful' and 'gorgeous'.

Whigfield broke records with 'Saturday Night', becoming the first female artist to enter the UK Official Singles Chart at number one with a debut single. She also ended Wet Wet Wet's 15-week run at the top with 'Love Is All Around' and was the first Danish act to achieve a UK number one.

Despite her enduring fame, Whigfield recently revealed she has never performed the iconic dance routine from 'Saturday Night'. In an interview with Official Charts, she said the routine was likely created by a gym instructor and spread through European clubs. She also disclosed that the song's opening 'dee dee na na na' was a mistake kept in by producer Larry because he found it catchy.
