Vicky Pattison and Jamelia Among Celebrities Updating Fans from Under-Siege Dubai

Vicky Pattison and Jamelia are among the celebrities keeping fans updated from Dubai after missiles struck the city. The attacks followed a joint US-Israeli strike on Tehran, with Iran retaliating against targets in the Gulf. Explosions were heard across several cities, and the Fairmont Hotel on Palm Jumeirah and the Burj Al Arab were hit.

Former Strictly Come Dancing star Vicky Pattison is on holiday with her husband Ercan Ramadan. She wrote on Instagram: 'We are receiving a lot of messages from people asking if we’re ok which we are. We are currently in our hotel and have been assured we’re safe.' Her flight to Australia was cancelled, leaving her stranded.

Singer Jamelia reassured fans she and her daughters are safe. On Instagram, she said: 'I understand how this looks from the outside, but we do feel safe and well informed. The internet can be a scary place at times like this but I can assure you our reality is far from fear and upset.'
