Hokit, a heavyweight fighter, won his bout against Derrick Lewis at the event hosted by US President Donald Trump on the South Lawn of the White House. Following the fight, he gave an interview to Joe Rogan. At the conclusion of the interview, Hokit declared, 'Michelle Obama is a man. Am I right, America?'

Videos posted online show some members of the crowd laughing, while others appeared shocked by the remarks. Rogan did not address the comment, simply saying, 'Ladies and gentlemen, Josh Hokit.'
