Donald Trump is reportedly living a 'post-sex life' and leading a 'lonely' existence in the White House, according to insiders. Melania Trump is often described as 'absent,' with her absence reportedly stemming from hostility toward her husband.
Michael Wolff's Revelations
Investigative journalist Michael Wolff, who has written four books on Trump, including the New York Times bestseller 'Fire and Fury: Inside the Trump White House,' claims to have unprecedented access to the administration. Despite criticism from former press secretary Sarah Sanders, who called Wolff's work 'trashy fiction,' Wolff says he conducted over 200 interviews with Trump and his staff over 18 years.
According to Wolff, Trump is viewed by his staff as 'post-sexual' and leads a solitary life. Speaking on the Daily Beast's YouTube channel, Wolff stated: 'He's regarded among his staff as post-sexual. There is at least nobody who is whispering he has a sexual relationship with anyone. Here is someone who has no comfort, no warmth, who is alone.'
Wolff added: 'He doesn't seem to have a personal life, he doesn't put it on display. When it is on display, it's on uncomfortable display. He is a man by who all appearances is alone in the White House. He doesn't have anyone to tend to him, to comfort him, to love him. It is all about being a singular public person.'
Trump's Marriages and Family
Trump and Melania have been married since 2005, after meeting when she was a model in Manhattan. They share a son, Barron, who is now 20. Trump was previously married twice: first to Ivana, with whom he had three children—Donald Jr., Ivanka, and Eric—and then to Marla Maples, with whom he had daughter Tiffany.
Wolff maintains that even in bed, Trump remains a 'public man,' as evidenced by his frequent early-morning posts on Truth Social.
Melania's Absence
The journalists also explored why Melania rarely appears with her husband. During the 2024 re-election campaign, she reportedly made no public appearances until the final week. Wolff stated: 'She isn't there. She isn't be his side. We went through the 2024 campaign and she was never there. Not until the final week did she make one appearance.'
At the Republican National Convention, she refused to sit next to him in the VIP box, only entering after he left to give his speech. Wolff described this as 'hostility.'
