Trigger Point enthusiasts are 'absolutely thrilled' after ITV unveiled a brand-new trailer ahead of the eagerly awaited return. The programme, executive produced by Line of Duty's Jed Mercurio, chronicles Lana and her team as they race against time to neutralise bomb threats, demonstrating extraordinary composure while every live crime scene could potentially prove deadly. Such bravery carries a heavy price, though, with previous series exploring Lana's profound post-traumatic stress stemming from countless harrowing incidents – and some heartbreaking losses, reports The Mirror.

When we meet her in this latest teaser, she's sharing candid thoughts about her profession with someone off-camera, perhaps a therapist or close confidant, asking: 'Is this it? Is this the last one?'
