TOWIE Star Jordan Wright Found Dead in Thailand Canal

Jordan Wright, known for appearing on reality shows including The Only Way is Essex and Ex on the Beach, has died at the age of 33. His body was discovered in a drainage canal in Phuket, Thailand, on Saturday afternoon.

Local police confirmed that a keycard for the Coco Phuket Bangtao Hotel was found in his pocket, with his phone nearby on the canal bank. There were no signs of forced entry at his hotel room or indications of physical assault. An autopsy has been ordered at Vachira Phuket Hospital.

Wright had relocated to Thailand months ago seeking a “fresh start”. His final Instagram post, shared last week, showed him smiling in an infinity pool with a glass of wine, captioned: “I’m home.” He had also posted about an “exciting year ahead” in December.

Tributes have poured in from fellow reality stars. Chloe Brockett wrote “Rest in Peace” with a heart emoji, while Love Island’s Chloe Crowhurst posted “Rest in peace Jord”. Model Georgia Mercer described him as having “the most infectious energy”.

The Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office said: “We are supporting the family of a British man who has died in Thailand and are in contact with the local authorities.”
