Coronation Street actress Tina O'Brien has shared a series of sun-soaked holiday snaps, showcasing her toned physique in a tiny yellow bikini, as she looks forward to a brighter new year following a profoundly difficult period.
A Year of Heartache and New Beginnings
The 42-year-old star, best known for playing Sarah Platt on the ITV soap, faced a tumultuous end to 2025. In November, she announced the devastating loss of her father, telling followers on Instagram her heart was 'very heavy' but that she was grateful he was no longer suffering.
This personal tragedy came shortly after her split from millionaire interior designer boyfriend Adam Fadlé, 38. The pair had gone public with their romance in the summer of 2025 at the wedding of her co-star Jack P Shepherd, but sources told the Daily Mail that Tina ended the relationship because she felt it 'wasn't going anywhere'.
Embracing Family and Fun
Despite the challenges, Tina's recent Instagram posts radiate positivity and gratitude. She shared a charming selfie with her 17-year-old daughter, Scarlett, whose father is fellow Corrie actor Ryan Thomas, and photos from festive outings to Christmas light displays.
Her poolside holiday pictures, featuring a cool drink and her famous bikini body, symbolise a much-needed break. Captioning the carousel of images, she wrote: 'The last weeks of 2025. Family, friends, and a whole lot of love. Stepping into the new year feeling grateful.'
Moving On From Past Relationships
The breakdown with Fadlé reportedly left him 'stunned', as he believed the relationship had real potential. Tina, however, made a clean break, removing all traces of their time together from her social media.
This split came just months after the finalisation of her seven-year marriage to ex-husband Adam Crofts, with reports suggesting their separation occurred over Christmas 2024.
As she enters 2026, Tina O'Brien appears to be focusing on healing, surrounded by the support of her close family and friends, and embracing her single life with hope and resilience.
