Jennifer Nicole Rivas, a 21-year-old TV presenter and TikTok personality from Honduras, has died at her home. Her family confirmed that she had an underlying condition, and authorities stated her death was due to natural causes, suspected to be an epileptic seizure.
Rivas, who was studying journalism, had a following of 100,000 on TikTok and 16,000 on Instagram. She worked as a presenter for Honduran TV channel CHTV and frequently collaborated with comedy group Los Venados 504.
Her final Instagram post, shared on the day of her death, showed her on a pickleball court with the caption 'Getting ready.' She wore a white tennis skirt, light pink vest, and white trainers. An autopsy was reportedly not carried out.
News of her sudden death has sparked tributes on social media, with colleagues and fans expressing their sadness. Her death follows that of another TikTok star, Zuza Beine, who died at 14 after a long battle with leukemia.
