The Hardacres Finale Prompts Channel 5 Viewers to Demand Third Series
The Hardacres Finale: Fans Demand Third Series

The Hardacres finale airs this week on Channel 5, and viewers are already making the same demand: a third series. The beloved period drama, adapted from C L Skelton's novel series and created by the team behind All Creatures Great and Small, returned in May and is poised to wrap up with the series two finale this week.

Hardacres Finale Leaves Viewers Wanting More

The series chronicles the fortunes of the Hardacre family, including Mary Hardacre (Claire Cooper) and Sam Hardacre (Liam McMahon). Set in 1980s Yorkshire, the second series has charted Mary and Sam's dramatic journey from poverty to privilege and has proved a resounding hit with audiences.

Series two also welcomed Michele Dotrice to the cast as Lady Imelda Hansen, alongside Niall McNamee as Edward Blackwood and Edward Mitchell as Arthur Lewis. The show has garnered a loyal fanbase, with many taking to social media to express their desire for a third installment.
