Former Sydney Roosters captain Anthony Minichiello and his shoe designer wife Terry Biviano have purchased a run-down property in Vaucluse for more than $3 million. The couple's buyer agents, Oliver Berger and David Cohen of Hastings Property, confirmed the sale to Daily Mail Australia.
The four-bedroom home on Hopetoun Avenue was built in the mid-1970s and is in its original condition. It sits on a 770-square-metre block with a 20-metre frontage, offering water views from the upper level. Agents Mark Meyer and Diarnah Lynch of LJ Levi Real Estate described it as a 'renovator's delight'.
The couple sold their neighbouring waterfront Bondi Beach penthouse for nearly $2 million in July. They have been searching for a new home for about a year and secured the Vaucluse property before it officially came to market.
Berger said the couple plan to either knock down the house or completely renovate it early next year, with hopes to move in by late 2015. The property's large block is ideal for their growing family and entertaining, he added.
