Susanna Reid made her feelings about Katie Price's husband Lee Andrews abundantly clear during the latest broadcast of Good Morning Britain. The host couldn't help rolling her eyes when the topic of Lee's prison claims came up.
Lee Andrews' Prison Claims
Lee Andrews claimed he was held at gunpoint and taken to prison on suspicion of espionage, but UAE officials have denied this. He was meant to appear on GMB last month with Katie but missed the interview after failing to board a flight to the UK. He went missing for days before Katie confirmed he was in a Dubai prison.
After his release, Lee alleged in a video on Tuesday (June 16) that he was beaten up and wrongly accused of spying. He said: "I was taken close to the Hatta-Oman border by men at gunpoint and then I was captured by men with assault rifles. They did slap me around a little bit, little s***s, and I was hand-tied, shackled and also had a hood over my head."
Susanna's Reaction
Entertainment reporter Richard Arnold brought up Lee's latest comments on-air, and Susanna responded: "I think my eyes just rolled out of my head." Co-host Ed Balls was also present during the segment.
UAE Authorities Dispute
UAE authorities have disputed Lee's account, stating he spent four weeks in custody on suspicion of fraud, not espionage. Katie Price backed up Lee's claims by sharing his video on her feed, saying: "My husband is back. I love you."
