Joe Jonas has revealed that his wife, actress Sophie Turner, inspired him to reunite with his brothers and release new music as the Jonas Brothers. The pop trio recently made a comeback with their single 'Sucker', their first material in over five years.
In an interview with Harper's Bazaar, Jonas opened up about the group's 2013 split, describing it as a 'unanimous decision' that left him 'wounded' and struggling to move on. He admitted he could not even perform Jonas Brothers songs during his time with DNCE.
Jonas credited Turner's close relationship with her own brothers as a key motivator for him to reconcile with his siblings. 'It encouraged me to see she had such a great relationship with her brothers. That was really a big thing for me to be able to look at, and say, “I gotta get my shit together,”' he said.
Turner, best known for playing Sansa Stark in Game of Thrones, previously revealed that Jonas signed a non-disclosure agreement to avoid spoiling the show's final season, having spent time on set.
