Sophie Habboo has shared the first images of her baby bump since her husband Jamie Laing announced the couple are expecting their first child. The Made In Chelsea star posted a carousel of snaps on Instagram from a wedding she attended over the weekend.
In the photos, Sophie wore a stunning halter-neck green dress with gold accessories, and her bump was visible in a mirror selfie. She posed alongside Jamie, who was dressed in a black three-piece suit. In her caption, she wrote: 'Last weekend I celebrated one of my friends of 24 years getting married and it was everything and more.'
The couple, who married in 2023 in a civil ceremony in London followed by a larger celebration in Seville, Spain, announced the pregnancy earlier this week. Jamie posted a heartwarming video of Sophie in hospital having a baby scan, with the couple listening to the baby's heartbeat.
The family news comes shortly after the couple announced they would be taking a break from their popular podcast, Newlyweds. They shared: 'We are going to go on a pause. We’re going to go on a little break, but we will be back and we love you guys so much.'
Jamie previously spoke with The Times about their baby plans, admitting: 'I was really scared about kids, it’s something you can’t control.' He added: 'Sophie would then carry a baby, all these different things that I can’t control... But I saw a clip on Instagram where someone said, “The best thing I ever had is being called Dad.” I was like, “Oh, wouldn’t that be cool?” So now I’m so down for it. I would like to have loads.'
