Paddy Young, one of the stars of Sky's recent hit Saturday Night Live UK, has been hospitalised after a freak accident involving a samurai sword. The 34-year-old comedian took to social media to share the news, posting photos from his hospital bed and throughout his recovery.

Young revealed: "Cut my finger with a samurai sword!" He added: "Thank you, Bebe Ed Horatio, for breastfeeding me back to good health. Thank you, Sam, for bringing the sword to my home and running away when I fainted." In a humorous tone, he continued: "Fringe run 90% sold out. Tendon 90% lacerated. Aura 100% lost. Tour selling fast – see u there."
