Simon Cowell has confirmed he will return as a judge for the seventh series of ITV1's Britain's Got Talent. He will be joined by Amanda Holden, Alesha Dixon and David Walliams, with Ant & Dec hosting the show.
Cowell expressed his enthusiasm for the upcoming series, stating: "I loved doing the show last year, the new panel worked really well and I'm very happy they have all agreed to come back." He added: "Last year was a special year for talent and I hope that in 2013, off the back of an amazing year for Britain, we find another global star."
Last year's winners, Ashleigh & Pudsey, a dancing dog act, received £500,000 in prize money and have since performed at the Royal Variety Performance and on US shows including America's Got Talent and The Jay Leno Show.
David Walliams joked about his return, saying: "My Simon and I are going to be together again. I'm delighted to confirm I will be a judge on Britain's Got Talent again next year. I am so happy I could cry."
The show's producers are offering a £10,000 reward to anyone who helps find a winning act. Viewers are encouraged to recommend performers they have seen in person or online, and if that act wins, the scout will receive the prize.
Open auditions have been taking place since October across the UK, with judges' auditions set to begin in the New Year in five cities.
