Sian Welby and Jordan North say they are still pinching themselves after landing roles in Disney Pixar's Toy Story 5. The Capital Breakfast presenters, 39 and 36 respectively, lend their voices alongside Tom Hanks, Tim Allen and Joan Cusack in the highly anticipated animated sequel.

A New Challenge for Woody and Buzz

Toy Story 5, the fifth instalment in the beloved Pixar franchise, is released on June 19. Woody, Buzz and the gang face a new challenge as technology competes for children's attention. The official synopsis teases: 'Buzz, Woody, Jessie and the rest of the gang's jobs get exponentially harder when they go head to head with this all-new threat to playtime.'

Voice Roles and Red Carpet Glamour

Reflecting on the experience at the UK Gala screening in London, North admitted the whole thing still felt 'not real'. Welby added: 'They are little roles but it was so incredible the way that they all let us feel like movie stars for the day.'

The Nottingham-born DJ voices Inflatable Flamingo, a character who 'used to be at all the pool parties, having all the fun and now she's a little bit deflated', while North plays a 'grumpy' Garden Gnome.

Welby shared: 'The bit that I'm most proud of, listen out for the slurp when we have a cup of tea. We were thrilled it made the cut!'

Star-Studded Premiere

The Odeon Leicester Square was packed with celebrities including Hannah Cooper-Dommett and Joel Dommett, Lewis Burton and Lottie Tomlinson, Claire Sweeney, Leigh Francis and Myleene Klass. Fans queued for photos with costumed Woody, Jessie and Buzz Lightyear.
