Shona McGarty's recent social media posts have sparked rumours online that she may be dating EastEnders co-star Tony Discipline, and her latest Instagram carousel seems to have confirmed it. The Whitney Dean actress shared a series of pictures from her weekend at an event, and Tony was by her side once again.
In two of the pictures, they had their arms round each other as they smiled and laughed. Commenting on the post, the Tyler Moon actor responded, 'Good times girl,' alongside confetti and fire emojis. This isn't the first event the pair have been to together, and fans in the comments of previous posts have speculated on whether they are officially a couple.
'A beautiful couple,' one follower commented on the most recent pictures, while others reflected on how happy the stars looked. Fans were also thrilled to see another EastEnders alumna appear in the post, as Shona posed for a selfie alongside Karen Taylor star Lorraine Stanley.
She also shared a video of them raving together, clearly enjoying the atmosphere and music. Shona recently thrilled fans when she made a surprise return to the BBC soap two years after her exit. Viewers will recall that Whitney left Albert Square in 2024, after learning that Zack Hudson (James Farrar) had cheated on her with best friend Lauren Branning (Jacqueline Jossa).
Last month, Whitney returned to Walford to meet with Zack, who was hopeful they could rekindle what they once had. Unfortunately, he was caught off-guard by the news that Whitney had been seeing someone else.
Tony, on the other hand, last played Tyler Moon in 2013, leaving after a two year stint. During his time on the show, Tyler had a turbulent relationship with Whitney, which had viewers hooked for months.
