Sex experts from Channel 4's reality series Virgin Island have shared the emotional story of a 72-year-old client who lost his virginity with the help of a sex surrogate. The revelation came during an appearance on the podcast Spill With Will, hosted by Will Grande.
Celeste Hirschman, one of the experts, told the podcast: 'I worked with a 72-year-old virgin. I put him together with a sex surrogate. There was a movie about this sex surrogate called The Sessions, and he lost his virginity to her at 72. I wanted to cry. It's so sweet.'
When asked about the reasons for his long wait, Hirschman explained: 'He waited very late and then he had a very, very bad sexual experience where the woman screamed at him for not being able to get an erection, and then he just didn't try again because it was so intimidating.'
Will Grande compared the situation to a cast member on Virgin Island who was bullied at school for her appearance. He said: 'It's crazy how these small moments really affect you for so long.'
Dr. Danielle Harel, the other expert, highlighted the importance of the show: 'The people who come on the show not only are brave, but they also inspire everyone who watches them. No matter how old you are, you can get help around that.'
