Seagull snatches ice cream in six minutes at Welsh beach

A couple visiting Llandudno in Wales tested how quickly a seagull would steal an ice cream, with the bird succeeding in just over six minutes.

Ryan and Jade, known as Live the Dash on social media, conducted the experiment on a sunny day on the promenade. Ryan wore a lab coat, helmet, and safety goggles for protection. He purchased a Mr Whippy ice cream with a flake and started a timer.

Within two minutes, birds were circling. At four minutes, Ryan noted the seagulls were drawing nearer, saying: "They've smelt the fear." The decisive moment came at six minutes and one second, when a seagull flew towards Ryan, causing him to drop the ice cream, which was immediately eaten.
