Rylan Clark has provided an update on his mother Linda's health following a serious fall in Spain earlier this year. The 71-year-old was hospitalised after the accident, which occurred during a family holiday.
On Wednesday, October 25, the presenter took to Instagram to share a photo of Linda with the caption: 'For the first time in 2 months she’s managed to come round. Best birthday present. Don’t make a habit of it tho dorrrlliiinnn.' The post came shortly after Rylan celebrated his 35th birthday.
The update prompted an outpouring of support from friends and fans. Carol Vorderman commented: 'Just absolutely wonderful Rylan. Just wonderful... Sending huge love and peeled grapes x.' Vanessa Feltz wrote: 'Great to see! Xx,' while Claire Richards added: 'Linda we love you xxx.'
Rylan had previously announced the incident in September, explaining that Linda required surgery after the fall. He wrote: 'My priority at the moment is my mum... Praying for a successful surgery and a quick recovery.' Weeks later, he revealed she was back in hospital for rehabilitation.
Rylan and Linda have appeared together on shows such as Celebrity Gogglebox. Following his split from ex-husband Dan Neale, Rylan moved back in with his mother.
