Ruby Wax Voted Off I'm A Celebrity as Final Nears
Ruby Wax eliminated from I'm A Celebrity jungle

Comedian and mental health campaigner Ruby Wax has become the latest celebrity to be eliminated from the I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! jungle. Her departure on Thursday 4 December leaves just seven contestants battling for the crown ahead of the series finale this weekend.

Emotional Exit and Final Antics

Presenters Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly announced Wax's exit live after she found herself in the bottom two with actress Lisa Riley. During her post-elimination interview, the star reflected on her intense jungle experience, revealing she had managed to "totally forget" the outside world. She warmly referred to her fellow campmates as her "family".

Not one to go quietly, Wax stirred up camp dynamics one last time before her departure. She took it upon herself to rearrange the chore board, assigning rapper Aitch just one job while giving two tasks to content creator Angryginge. "We knew that would aggravate the situation and we like to see a little conflict between the two of them," she admitted cheekily.

A Festive and Emotional Episode

The episode was packed with high emotion and a touch of festive spirit. The campmates were left feeling worse for wear after a night at their makeshift watering hole, the Jungle Arms. Emotions ran high when Jack Osbourne became tearful, marking what would have been his late father Ozzy Osbourne's 77th birthday. "I'm OK though, it's just another day at the end of the day," he told his supportive campmates.

In a lighter moment, Tom Read Wilson and Lisa Riley won gifts for everyone in a challenge. Presents ranged from a Manchester United scarf for Angryginge to a foam roller for Jack Osbourne and an air freshener for Shona.

Trials and the Final Countdown

Jack Osbourne also faced his fears in the 'Dangerous Discoveries' Bushtucker Trial, where he had to dig through a box teeming with scorpions, lizards, and toads to unearth fossil-like stars.

Wax's exit follows the eliminations of former England footballer Alex Scott, comedian Eddie Kadi, podcaster Vogue Williams, and radio DJ Kelly Brook. Before leaving, Scott had playfully exposed a secret stash of milk bottle sweets that she, Aitch, and Angryginge had hidden from the group earlier in the week.

With the camp now down to its final seven, the competition is heating up for the grand final, scheduled to air on Sunday 7 December. The show continues nightly at 9pm on ITV1, STV, ITVX and STV Player.
