Comedy legend Ruby Wax is set to make a major return to the stage, announcing a brand new live tour for 2026 directly following her appearance on the current series of I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here!
From Jungle Camp to the Stage
The 72-year-old TV star is channelling her renewed popularity from the ITV jungle into Ruby Wax: Absolutely Famous, a nationwide tour that will give audiences a chance to experience her signature provocative and hilariously abrasive style firsthand. The tour will commence on March 25, 2026, in Henley-on-Thames and conclude its spring leg on July 7 in Bristol.
Ruby will be joined on stage by her lifelong friend and A-list producer, Clive Tulloh. Together, they plan to review clips from their extraordinary television collaborations, share never-before-heard scandalous stories from her career, and take the audience on a memorable ride through her life in the spotlight.
In a characteristically witty statement from the jungle, Ruby said: 'It’s Ruby here - yes, broadcasting live from the jungle, where the Wi-Fi is powered by mosquitoes and my only beauty routine is "don’t get eaten". But fear not! The moment I escape; I’m heading straight back on the road and can't wait to see you all there.'
A Career Rekindled
Ruby Wax first shot to fame in the 1980s with her role as Shelley DuPont in Girls On Top. She later became renowned for her bold documentary work, conducting memorable interviews with some of the world's most prominent figures, including OJ Simpson, Donald Trump, and Madonna.
Despite this successful career, Ruby confessed while in the jungle that she felt her fame had waned in recent years. This new tour represents a powerful comeback, allowing her to return to what she does best: commanding a stage and connecting directly with a live audience. Tickets for the highly anticipated tour will go on sale starting November 28.
Jungle Success Sparks Deals for Fellow Campmate
Ruby Wax is not the only campmate looking to capitalise on their newfound jungle fame. AngryGinge, the 24-year-old Twitch streamer whose real name is Morgan Burtwistle, has also become one of the breakout stars of the 2025 series.
His unlikely but close friendship with Ruby, along with his hilarious Bushtucker Trials and banter with rapper Aitch, has won over viewers. Since entering the jungle, his online following has exploded, amassing over 1.4 million followers on Twitch and 900,000 subscribers on YouTube.
Reports indicate that his team has been inundated with offers for TV projects, major brand deals, and a significant book contract. A source told The Mirror: 'Since the moment Ginge stepped foot in the jungle, the commercial interest has gone through the roof... Brands have very quickly clocked that he’s not just a viral creator; he’s genuinely relatable.'
Broadcasters including ITV, the BBC, and Channel 4 are said to be preparing approaches, convinced his authentic and unfiltered personality could make him a mainstream television regular.
