Robyn Langton, the first Islander to be dumped from the 2026 series of Love Island, has publicly criticized her former co-star Priya Jaswal, suggesting she is not in the villa for the right reasons.
The 21-year-old appeared on the spin-off show The Debrief on Monday evening (June 15) to discuss her journey and the ongoing drama in the main ITV2 program. During the episode, she was asked by co-host Shakira Khan if she believed any Islander was there for the wrong reasons.
Robyn's Accusations
Robyn responded: "Yeah I do, but it's one of the girls and I love the girls. It's Priya [Jaswal]. It's just giving superfan." She added that while she likes Priya as a person, she believes some contestants can be spotted as not being genuine. "I genuinely do think you can spot the people who aren't in it for the right reasons," she said.
Robyn accused Priya of jumping from boy to boy, stating: "I think she just needs to stay in her lane now. I think she just wants a bit of everyone." She continued: "I do think she is doing too much, I think she knows there's cameras... I don't know whether I would say she's in it for the right reasons. I do think it's giving superfan vibes."
Previous Comments
In an earlier interview shared on the official Love Island TikTok, Robyn had branded an unnamed Islander as being "in it for clout", reports OK! magazine. She also labeled the person a "superfan", suggesting it was almost certainly Priya she was referring to.
Priya's Villa Drama
Priya has been causing a stir in recent episodes by pursuing multiple Islanders after her partner Lorenzo Alessi revealed that Yasmin Hadlow was his top choice. While Yasmin and Lorenzo shared a kiss, Lorenzo and Priya will have a secret late-night smooch in tonight's episode, which has upset the group.
When Priya discloses the kiss, Lola Deal brands her "insensitive" and accuses her of "double standards", as Priya had previously refused to kiss Tommy Murphy because he had also kissed Ellie Chadwick earlier in the day.
Love Island airs Sundays to Fridays at 9pm on ITV2 and ITVX.
