Former Page 3 model Rhian Sugden has undergone a £10,000 breast reduction surgery, describing it as 'life-changing' after suffering from constant back pain and difficulty with everyday activities. The 38-year-old, who has a 34GG cup size, said her breasts left her in 'agony' following the birth of her son.
In a video shared with her 492,000 Instagram followers, Sugden explained that 'gravity took its toll' after having a baby, leaving her nipples 11cm lower than they should be. She struggled to find bras and bikinis that fit, and experienced deep grooves in her shoulders from bra straps.
The Celebrity Big Brother star said swimming became difficult as her breasts caused her back to arch in the water. She relied on weekly massages and painkillers to manage the discomfort. 'Having this reduction is literally going to change my life,' she said.
Sugden had the surgery at Pall Mall Cosmetics in Newton-le-Willows. Her husband, Coronation Street actor Oliver Mellor, was initially 'gutted' but understood her need for relief. Some fans criticised the decision, with one OnlyFans subscriber demanding a refund, but Sugden said it was a relief to prioritise her health.
