Dolores Catania, star of The Real Housewives of New Jersey, has denied rumours that she uses weight loss jabs, despite previously discussing her use of the medications Ozempic and Mounjaro. The 54-year-old revealed on SiriusXM's Jeff Lewis show that Mounjaro 'stopped working' and she has regained 20 pounds.
Catania, who first started taking Ozempic in 2023 before switching to Mounjaro, explained that she had to stop the medication for about a month to undergo a cardiac ablation for atrial fibrillation (Afib). She is now on '10 pills a day' for 90 days and hopes that may be the reason for her weight gain.
Fellow cast member Jennifer Fessler also spoke openly about her use of semaglutide on her podcast, admitting she lost 22 pounds but suffered a side effect that led to hospitalisation for an impacted bowel. Despite this, Fessler said she is not worried about continuing the treatment.
The Real Housewives of New Jersey has been on pause since season 13 aired in 2023.
