Former Death in Paradise star Ralf Little received an outpouring of sweet messages from fans after penning a touching post on Instagram.
The actor featured in the BBC crime series between 2020 and 2024, portraying beloved Detective Inspector Neville Parker.
Posting an image on Instagram capturing him on set, he told his followers: "This throwback popped up on my feed the other day. Five years since we filmed @deathinparadiseofficial series 11 in Guadeloupe. Great times!"
He then asked: "What was your favourite moment from the series? Let me know in the comments!"
Numerous fans of the series - which follows the police force on the fictional Caribbean island of Saint Marie - subsequently contributed their standout moments, reports the Express.
Many declared their preferred detective in the long-running programme was Neville, who ultimately departed Saint Marie to embark on a fresh chapter with Florence Cassell (Joséphine Jobert).
"Absolutely loved Neville," expressed one viewer. "He was such a bundle of fun and changes!!!!! The kindness and the friendship in the team!!!!"
"I only watched it when you were in it Ralf, I wished you had stayed in it longer," mentioned another fan, while a different fan observed: "Missing Neville, my favourite detective on the island!"
One viewer remarked: "The way your character developed over time. Once Neville started facing his fears, he became a very kind and empathetic character. The other inspectors never grew or changed. Neville Parker went on a very real journey and we were allowed to be part of it. Very nice work. Thanks for the memories!"
"I miss Neville so much," admitted another fan, while one urged Ralf to "go back" or "do a crossover" with either Beyond Paradise or Return to Paradise, both spin-offs of the beloved series.
"This is my TV family," wrote one viewer. "I miss Neville but I also miss other cast who have left. One of the best shows I have seen and still watching from day one."
Death in Paradise launched in 2011 and recently concluded its 15th series, with Don Gilet now portraying the current Detective Inspector, Mervin Wilson.
The much-loved programme has been commissioned for an additional two series and two Christmas specials.
