The Duke of Sussex made an unexpected appearance at the NBA Finals in San Antonio on Saturday night, but Meghan Markle was nowhere to be seen.
Harry's Solo Outing
Harry, 41, was spotted among spectators at Game Five of the championship series between the San Antonio Spurs and the New York Knicks. He watched the game alongside US Army veteran and Purple Heart recipient JP Lane, positioned a few rows behind the court next to NBA Commissioner Adam Silver.
The duke was already in the United States for the Warrior Games, a competition for wounded, injured, or ill military personnel organized by the US government.
Other Celebrities in Attendance
Other familiar faces at the fixture included Euphoria actress Sydney Sweeney, who turned up with partner Scooter Braun, alongside actors Timothee Chalamet and Ben Stiller.
The Duchess of Sussex and the couple's children were notably absent from the game, which saw the New York Knicks secure their first NBA championship since 1973 following a 94-90 victory.
Royal Family's Busy Day
The royal duo has been regularly spotted at sporting fixtures since relocating to America in 2020, most recently attending an NBA All-Star Game in February. Harry's outing occurred just hours after the King marked his official birthday with a ceremony highlighting the British Army's ceremonial excellence.
Charles participated in the renowned Trooping the Colour event on Saturday, where military grandeur and spectacle were showcased in the capital's center. The Princess of Wales joined forces with her children, the Queen, and thousands of onlookers at Horse Guards Parade in Whitehall to witness the spectacular display from some of Britain's most celebrated regiments.
Future king Prince George, 12, Princess Charlotte, 11, and Prince Louis, eight, watched their grandfather from a first-floor window in the Duke of Wellington's former office, which overlooks the parade ground in the heart of London.
Vast crowds lined The Mall to catch a glimpse of the royal family's carriage procession from Buckingham Palace, with Charles and Camilla positioned at the center of a Sovereign's Escort, provided by the Household Cavalry Mounted Regiment.
