Pink and Carey Hart's son Jameson, eight, has debuted a bold new hairstyle that closely mirrors his famous mother's iconic pink look from the late 1990s and early 2000s. The couple, married since 2006, share two children: daughter Willow, 14, and son Jameson. While Willow has recently grown out her cropped hair into longer waves, Jameson has taken a more adventurous route.
Carey Hart, 50, shared a video on Instagram showing Jameson at a conveyor belt sushi restaurant. The clip reveals Jameson's formerly shoulder-length blonde hair has been cut into sideswept bangs and dyed bright pink. He also wore a matching pink sweatshirt, completing the striking transformation.
Fans responded enthusiastically to the new style, with comments such as: 'Love the hair! Looks awesome on him,' and 'Looks so much like his mom.' Another fan noted: 'He got pink hair like his mama used to have.' The resemblance to Pink's own pink hairstyle from her early career is unmistakable.
Pink, 46, has long embraced a style that prioritises authenticity and empowerment. In a 60 Minutes interview, she explained: 'I never got a record deal because I was cute; I got a record deal because I was fiery, I had a lot to say, and I had a voice.' She added that she doesn't need to conform to conventional beauty standards as she ages.
The singer also addressed societal norms around hair and gender in a 2023 interview with the Los Angeles Times. She recalled telling Jameson, who was being called a girl because of his long hair: 'People call me 'sir' all the time... I don't care. Call me 'sir,' call me whatever, just stay out of my way.' Jameson, she said, now responds to similar comments with a wink.
