Penny Lancaster Describes Rod Stewart as Her 'Most Demanding' Third Child

Penny Lancaster has revealed that her husband, Sir Rod Stewart, is like her 'third child' and the most demanding of the three. The 6ft 1in model and photographer, who has been married to the rocker for nearly 10 years, says he requires a lot of attention after coming down from the high of performing on tour.

Speaking about their relationship, Lancaster admitted that Stewart often makes her blush with his candid comments about their sex life, having previously declared they make love 'three quality times a week'. She emphasised the importance of making time for each other, even if it's just sitting in the garden together for a coffee.

The couple, who first met when Lancaster photographed Stewart on tour 16 years ago, will renew their vows in Italy this year to mark their tenth wedding anniversary. They plan to gather friends and family for the occasion, including their two sons, Alastair, 11, and Aiden, five, who was not present at the original ceremony.

Lancaster, who describes herself as a 'real mother hen', says her biggest life ambition was always to be a mother. She has warmly embraced Stewart's children from previous relationships, including Kimberly, Sean, Ruby, Renee, Liam, and his first child Sarah, who was given up for adoption. The family also includes granddaughter Delilah, Kimberly's daughter with actor Benicio Del Toro.

Reflecting on her childhood in Essex, Lancaster recalled being bullied for her height from the age of 11. Despite the challenges, she remains grounded and focused on her family, saying she loves gathering them all together and healing old wounds.
