Adam Peaty's Sister Only at Wedding for Being 'Pretty Enough for Ramsays', Claims Alleged Mistress
Peaty Wedding Feud: Sister's Invite Questioned by Ramsay's Alleged Mistress

The lavish Christmas wedding of Olympic champion Adam Peaty to Holly Ramsay, daughter of celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay, has been overshadowed by a deepening family rift and sensational claims from an unexpected source.

The Wedding Snub and a Single Family Guest

When Adam Peaty, 31, and Holly Ramsay, 26, tied the knot in a high-profile ceremony at Bath Abbey on 27 December, followed by a reception at Kin House in Wiltshire, one side of the family was conspicuously absent. Most of Adam's family, including his parents Caroline and Mark, were not in attendance. The sole representative from the swimmer's side was his sister, Bethany Peaty, who served as a bridesmaid alongside Holly's sisters, Megan and Tilly.

The guest list was star-studded, featuring the Ramsay clan and close friends like the Beckhams. However, the absence of the Peaty family pointed to a reported feud that had been brewing in the lead-up to the nuptials.

"Pretty Enough for the Ramsays": A Damning Claim

Sarah Symonds, a woman who alleges she had a seven-year affair with Gordon Ramsay—which he denies—has now spoken out. She claims she has become friends with Adam's mother, Caroline, and suggests a reason for Bethany's exclusive invitation. Symonds, 55, believes Bethany, a 32-year-old beauty therapist, was included because she was "pretty enough for the Ramsays" and matched the highly polished social media image the family wishes to portray.

"It's heartbreaking. Especially because Caroline is just lovely," Symonds told the Daily Mail. "After all, she didn't judge me... They are decent people trying to navigate him, so I told Caroline to stay strong and not to let anyone bully her." Symonds described herself and Caroline as "kindred spirits" in dealing with the Ramsay family dynamics.

The Roots of the Family Feud

Reports indicate the discord began when Holly reportedly took a dislike to Caroline Peaty's chosen mother-of-the-groom dress. Adam and Holly asked Caroline to buy a new outfit, but relations deteriorated so severely that she, along with most of Adam's family, was ultimately uninvited.

Further details suggest that Adam's working-class family were deemed not to have "the right look" for the glamorous event, leading to a blanket ban. Adam's brother, James, was also excluded from the wedding list after allegedly making threats during the stag do.

In a poignant social media post after the wedding, Caroline Peaty expressed her profound grief. She revealed the snub had "cut my heart out" and that she had "lost a piece of myself this year that I will never get back." She added she would be "praying for peace... real peace" in 2026 following the painful fallout with her son and new daughter-in-law.

The Mirror has approached a representative for Gordon Ramsay for comment on the ongoing situation.
