Actress Patsy Kensit has revealed she has not seen her former husband, Oasis frontman Liam Gallagher, for 26 years, despite the pair sharing a son together. The 57-year-old made the admission during an appearance on the comedy panel show Never Mind the Buzzcocks.
Kensit married Gallagher in 1997 at the height of the Britpop era, with the couple famously photographed in bed for a Vanity Fair feature celebrating Cool Britannia. Their marriage ended in divorce in 2000, less than a year after the birth of their son Lennon, named after John Lennon.
When asked if she had attended any of the Oasis reunion shows, Kensit replied: 'No, I watched the whole thing unfold and it was magical, those memories, and I haven’t seen Liam for 26 years. But I’m so happy for Lennon because he’s gone to watch this cultural explosion. I couldn’t be happier for the band and all the people rediscovering them.'
The Emmerdale and Holby City star is currently fronting a campaign for Samsung, promoting the Galaxy S25 FE phone and its AI-powered Generative Edit tool, which can remove unwanted people or objects from photos. The campaign is based on research showing nearly half of Britons delete digital traces of ex-partners after a breakup.
Kensit, who has been married four times, has previously said she has given up on finding love. Speaking to HELLO! magazine last year, she said: 'I wouldn’t want a relationship, I’m not interested. I do believe in love, but for me it’s not something I need.' She was previously married to Dan Donovan, Jim Kerr, Liam Gallagher, and Jeremy Healy.
