Paris Hilton has disclosed that her fiancé, Carter Reum, is reluctant to appear in their upcoming wedding television special, 'Paris In Love'. Speaking to Extra on the red carpet at the MTV Movie and TV Awards: UNSCRIPTED, the 40-year-old socialite said she is still trying to convince him to participate.
'He doesn't like the camera. He doesn't do red carpets, doesn't do interviews. He's so focused on his business, and I love that about him,' Hilton explained. She added that Reum's aversion to fame sets him apart from previous relationships, making their connection unique.
The couple is currently planning their wedding, which will be documented for the Peacock series. Hilton described the show as capturing 'all of the magical moments', including preparations, the bachelorette party, and dress selections. She expressed her joy, stating, 'I finally found my fairy-tale happy ending with my Prince Charming.'
In addition to wedding plans, Hilton has been advocating for reform at boarding schools following her documentary 'This Is Paris'. She recently passed her first bill in Utah and aims to take the legislation to a federal level to prevent abuse in such institutions.
Earlier, Hilton confirmed she will not DJ at her own wedding, opting to let friends take over the decks so she can focus on being the bride. The 13-episode docuseries 'Paris In Love' will air on Peacock, offering an 'entertaining and emotional ride' as she prepares for her big day.
