TV star Paddy Young, 34, known for his role on Sky's Saturday Night Live UK, was rushed to hospital following a freak accident involving a samurai sword. The comic shared details of the incident on social media, posting photos from his hospital bed and throughout his recovery.

The Incident

Young revealed: "Cut my finger with a samurai sword!" He thanked Bebe Ed Horatio for "breastfeeding me back to good health" and Sam for "bringing the sword to my home and running away when I fainted." In typical comedic fashion, he added: "Fringe run 90% sold out. Tendon 90% lacerated. Aura 100% lost. Tour selling fast – see u there."

Recovery and Fan Support

Despite his left hand being heavily bandaged, Young smiled in hospital photos. He also posed with friends while wearing a sling, maintaining his humor. Fans flooded social media with well-wishes, with one writing: "Nooooooooooo!!!!! Hope you will feel better soon, Paddy." Another remarked: "This is a very chill response to a friend causing you to lose the use of your hand."
