Ozzy Osbourne's Secret First Wife Revealed

Ozzy Osbourne, the legendary Black Sabbath frontman who passed away at 76, had a life before his famous marriage to Sharon. His first wife, Thelma Riley, was a teacher he met in the 1960s while he was still an up-and-coming musician. They married in 1971 as Black Sabbath's fame was rising.

The couple had two children together, Jessica and Louis, and Ozzy adopted Thelma's son Elliot from a previous relationship. However, Ozzy has admitted in interviews that he was far from an ideal husband or father. His growing fame, heavy drinking, and drug use created a chaotic and unstable home life.

In his autobiography, Ozzy called the marriage a 'mistake', confessing he was absent and consumed by addiction. The couple divorced in 1982, and Ozzy later expressed regret over his treatment of Thelma and his children, acknowledging his destructive lifestyle.

After the divorce, Ozzy began a relationship with Sharon Arden, whose father had managed Black Sabbath. They married in Hawaii in 1982 and had three children: Aimee, Kelly, and Jack. Their marriage faced turmoil in 2016 when Ozzy's four-year affair with hairdresser Michelle Pugh was revealed, leading to a temporary split and Ozzy entering rehab for sex addiction.

Sharon has spoken openly about the affair, including her overdose in 2016 after discovering the betrayal. She told Loose Women: 'He always had groupies... but when he knows the name of the person... it is a whole different thing.' The couple reconciled and renewed their vows in 2017, with Sharon supporting Ozzy through his Parkinson's disease diagnosis.
