Outlast's Halle Cooley on 'Living Off Creepy Men' Before Fame

New reality star Halle Cooley has revealed that she once 'made a living off creepy men' before competing for $1 million on Netflix's Outlast: The Jungle.

Halle Cooley's Unconventional Job Before Fame

The Texan model appeared in Season 3 of Outlast: The Jungle, which premiered on the streaming giant on June 10. The show drops 16 strangers in the Panamanian jungle with only basic supplies and their outdoor skills. Working in teams, they must survive the unforgiving wilderness to win a huge prize pot.

Although introduced as a model on the show, Halle previously worked for the Twin Peaks restaurant chain, known for its waitresses wearing revealing uniforms. In 2024, the Netflix star shared a TikTok video of herself wearing the sports bar's classic plaid crop top and mini denim shorts uniform. She posted it with the candid caption: 'When you make a living off of creepy men saying you're the most beautiful thing they've ever seen.'

Halle also shared a vlog from the day she applied for the role in 2023, explaining that she needed a solid job to make money while attending university. Today, she primarily works in modelling and has built a huge online following of over 300,000 as an influencer.

Her Journey on Outlast: The Jungle

Although determined to outlast the jungle, Halle quit the show after an impressive 26 days. She recently reflected on her journey, admitting it was 'the hardest thing' she has ever done. Writing on Instagram, the influencer said: 'Reminiscing on the almost 30 days I spent surviving the jungle... this was my bed. Where I got eaten alive by bugs and barely slept (really makes you appreciate a bed and AC, haha).'

She continued: 'Even though it was the hardest thing I've ever done, what a freaking experience!!! I had zero survival skills going in and was terrified. I only relied on my values and work ethic. It's incredible what your body can do when you put your fears aside. This truly made me a better person, and I couldn't be more grateful for the people I was with.'

Outlast: The Jungle Season 3 is streaming now on Netflix.
