Nicola Peltz Accused of Antagonising Victoria Beckham Online

Nicola Peltz has been accused of antagonising her mother-in-law Victoria Beckham on social media, as the rift between her husband Brooklyn and his family deepens. The 31-year-old actress appeared to replicate a phrase commonly used by fashion designer Victoria, 51, in a recent Instagram post.

Sharing snaps from an Oscars night event hosted by Sir Elton John, a close friend of the Beckhams, Nicola wrote: 'What a beautiful evening for such an important cause. Thank you for having us @eltonjohn and @davidfurnish we love you both so much #ejafoscars.' The phrase 'we love you so much' is one Victoria regularly uses to sign off her own social media posts.

This comes after Nicola appeared to highlight the family's absence from Brooklyn's birthday. Sharing photos from his March 4 celebration, she wrote: 'Last night was so special. Thank you to everyone who came and made it so perfect.' She added: 'We all love you so much Brooklyn!' Victoria's own birthday message to her son, despite his request for contact only through lawyers, read: 'Happy 27th birthday Brooklyn, I love you so much.'

Some social media users were suspicious of Nicola's captions. One wrote: 'Now quoting VB.' Another commented: 'I imagine it was to antagonise The Beckhams!' Last year, Nicola faced similar claims of copying her mother-in-law when she wore a Dolce & Gabbana biker jacket identical to one Victoria famously wore in 2001. A source told the Mirror: 'If not obsessive, it was definitely the most bizarre behaviour.'

The ongoing feud has seen Brooklyn, 27, completely cut ties with his family, with no signs of resolution.
