Loose Women star Nadia Sawalha has opened up about a painful health condition that left her face feeling 'bruised' and swollen. During Thursday's episode, co-host Jane Moore inquired about her glasses and makeup-free appearance, prompting Nadia to explain the cause.
Nadia initially thought she was suffering from an allergy but later realised stress was the culprit. She consulted Dr Zoe Williams, who advised deep breathing and taking time out. Nadia admitted she hadn't cried properly in two to three years, saying, 'When we get stressed, why do we think it doesn't impact our body?'
On Instagram, Nadia shared a video revealing her sister's shock at her appearance, joking she looked like she'd 'had three bottles of sauvignon blanc and fallen asleep in a hedge'. Fans sent well wishes, with one commenting, 'Bless you Nadia I hope it clears up soon'.
This comes after Nadia recently discussed her 23-year marriage to Mark Adderley, revealing it nearly ended due to his jealousy after achieving sobriety. She credited couples counselling for helping them overcome the issue.
