Strictly Come Dancing professional Oti Mabuse has broken her silence on rumours that she may be leaving the BBC show. The 31-year-old dancer, who joined the series in 2015, has recently taken on other projects, including judging roles on ITV's The Masked Dancer and Dancing on Ice.
Addressing speculation about her future on Strictly, Oti said an announcement will be made later. 'There will be an announcement that will be made later, but for me, as a person in entertainment, I really want to learn and grow,' she stated.
Oti, who won the Glitterball Trophy in 2019 with Kelvin Fletcher and in 2020 with Bill Bailey, added that she is trying to take part in 'as much as she can'. She also revealed that her sister, Strictly judge Motsi Mabuse, advised her to be herself in her new roles.
In addition to her Dancing on Ice judging debut this weekend, Oti will host a new ITV show called Romeo and Duet, which she described as a 'dream come true'.
