The 38-year-old singer and broadcaster revealed that she collapsed unconscious on her bathroom floor at 4am, hitting her head and face as she fell. She wrote: 'After coming home late from work, I suddenly collapsed unconscious on the bathroom floor at 4am, hitting my head and face as I fell. It was a huge shock and I ended up being rushed to A&E.'

King expressed gratitude that she was not alone at the time, crediting her partner Stuart for helping her regain consciousness. She also thanked the medical staff at St George's Hospital, particularly Amy and Hannah, who stitched her up and saw past her Looney Tunes pyjama top.

Recovery and Reflection

The incident served as a wake-up call for King, who acknowledged the need to prioritise her health. She said: 'It's been a real wake up call that I needed to make some time to get my strength back, not just for my own health but so I can be the best version of myself for my family too.'

After two weeks of recovery, King enjoyed her first social outing, describing it as 'amazing' to get out of the house. She spent time with friends and even spotted her father on a big screen, which brought smiles to the group.
