Anastasia Pokreshchuk, a model from Ukraine who is believed to have the 'world's biggest cheeks', has revealed how different she looked before undergoing extensive cosmetic procedures. Nine years ago, she was a gym enthusiast with long blonde curls and a toned physique, a stark contrast to her current appearance.
Pokreshchuk shared throwback photos from 2017 on Instagram, prompting a wave of comments. While some followers remarked she looked 'better' in her earlier days, others defended her right to self-expression. One commenter wrote: 'Back then was much better than today,' while another added: 'It was more beautiful than it is today.' A supporter countered: 'LOVE this! More of this female empowerment.'
The model has previously addressed negativity online, stating: 'I don't understand this kind of thinking at all. I don't care what others say because this is my face and I have to like it, not you. This is my face and my life.' She emphasised that her own happiness is paramount, adding: 'You will not live my life for me, okay?'
Pokreshchuk began having cosmetic procedures at age 26, spending thousands on fillers, veneers, breast implants, and Botox. Despite mixed reactions, she remains proud of her look, saying: 'After I had the injections and saw the changes in my cheeks, I fell in love with them. I understand that they look weird for other people, but I don't mind.' She has hinted at further surgery, posting in 2023: 'All the beauty that you see is all @plastikaistanbul_ But I want a little more.'
